While talking about his net worth in a recent interview, Manoj said that he has earned enough to secure a comfortable future for him, his wife Shabana Raza and their daughter Av Naila.
In a recent interview with Aajtak, Manoj was asked about his net worth, and he reacted with shock after hearing that it was around ₹170 crore. He said, “Bap re bap! Aligarh Aur Gali Gulyan karake? Not at all hai par haan itna zaroor hai bhagwan ki daya se ki mera aur meri wife ka budhapa achche se guzar jayega aur meri beti set ho jayegi (Oh my god! By doing films like Aligarh and Gali Gulyan? Not at all! However, by the grace of God, I have enough for my wife and I to live comfortably and my daughter will be well taken care of.
Bihar native Manoj Bajpayee further stated that he still lives in the suburbs of Mumbai unlike many other Bollywood celebs. He said, “Main Dakshin Mumbai ka nahi hoon, na Bandra ka hoon. Main abhi bhi Lokhandwala, I live in Andheri. I always say that the main cinema, is the film industry or the beach, not me. Maine yeh sakhm kiya tha ki main film industry ki boundary pe besata hoon. Ye Mera Chunav Raha Hai (I am not from South Mumbai or Bandra. I still live in Lokhandwala, Andheri. I have always said that I am not in the middle of this film industry. I am still sitting on the edge and that is one. I have made a choice. ).”
Manoj Bajpayee was last seen in Sirf Ek Banda Kafi Hai, which released on 23 May. Before that, the actor appeared in Gulmohar opposite veteran actor Sharmila Tagore, which released in March this year. Manoj's upcoming projects include films like Soup, Dispatch and Joram.
